- Initiate, clearly articulate, implement and lead solutions consulting strategy, vision, direction, team composition and thought leadership within IntelliScript and collaborate with sales, relationship management, clinical and product teams across Milliman
- Closely coordinate with product teams and leadership to understand business needs, communicate the value of solutions consulting, and appropriately prioritize the team roadmap
- Maintain actuarial professionalism by providing a fair and balanced view to clients aligning with ASOPs.
- Uphold quality risk management (QRM) principles for peer reviewing study and marketing content, documentation, and client communication
- Initiate, develop, and implement process and process improvements to optimize efficiencies across proof-of-concept teams
- Utilize knowledge of mortality and morbidity data to assist teams with their development initiatives and client support activities
- Apply extensive actuarial operations knowledge and sound leadership skills to advance product innovation, new revenue streams, client relationships, and staff versatility
- Hire, train, onboard and manage team leads and individual contributor reports
- Foster industry presentation and publishing opportunities for team
- Manage and lead solutions consulting teams
- Initiate, prioritize, and provide support and direction on projects
- Support team leads in training and onboarding of new team members
- Supervise and foster professional growth of team members
- Be accountable for the successful completion of team initiatives (e.g. client-specific deliverables, product positioning and marketing campaigns)
- Drive operational efficiencies (turnaround times, etc.) of study processes while maintain high quality
- Guide teams in understanding complex health data systems and how to leverage those systems to meet client and market needs
- Be responsible for written and verbal consultation to clients, providing actuarial and product expertise in a business frame of reference
- Actuarial accreditation (e.g. ASA, FSA, MAAA) in good standing
- Published insurance industry thought leadership articles, past speaking engagements, etc.
- Past leadership, mentorship, and management experience
- Creative and dynamic thinking for complex and ambiguous problems
- Proven track record for creating new processes, products and connections
- Sound business acumen and strategy execution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Project Management software
- Focused on results and able to explain findings in a way that answers business problems
- Able to unearth client needs, conduct analysis, and present a resolution
- Constructive, “can do” approach to overcoming obstacles

- Deep understanding of IntelliScript’s operations, medical and prescription data, Irix rule engine and Curv suite
- Experience presenting Irix content information to C-suite decision-makers

- Successful track record of completing product development initiatives and navigating complex client relationships
- If experienced with an ASA equates to 20 - 29 years of relevant experience the salary range for this position is $107,000 - $224,000 depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
- If experienced with an FSA equates to 20 - 29 years of relevant experience the salary range for this position is $125,000 - $261,000 depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
