Develops partnerships with line of business leaders, relationship managers, other leaders within the organization and the product team to develop and execute on a strategy within assigned markets. Identifies changes to strategy, gaining the appropriate approvals, and implementing those changes effectively to ensure the customer has the best experience possible and the team can be successful at achieving goals and driving revenue production with a focus on Consumer, Private Wealth, and Commercial lines of business.Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops, drives, and executes the Treasury and Payment Solutions (TPS) strategy with virtual and/or In Person teams across multiple lines of businesses and proactively makes adjustments when needed to ensure team success.
  • Conducts ongoing strategic analysis of sales, sales pipeline opportunities, structure and delivery to drive overall success. Communicates with key management partners in finalization of strategies and the execution of plans.
  • Leads, hires, and manages the sales team achieving positive performance results. Manages FTE resources with the ability to pivot based on market needs.
  • Conducts regular measurements of progress versus plan accompanied with appropriate TMC development. Focuses on annual goals for the team, quarterly approach to execution, along with the development plans for each TMC to ensure success.
  • Holds regular team meetings and individual check-ins to assess sales performance success. Applies a prescriptive approach to performance management.
  • Builds collaborative partnerships and gains buy in from internal and external parties. Participates in divisional and bank wide cross functional committees as requested.
  • Adheres to established T&PS business protocols and documented strategic sales plans consistently offering top level communication while creating and enhancing strong working relationships with all business partners across Synovus.
  • Provide support to senior TPS management as requested.
  • Strives to achieve and/or exceed sales goals on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
