- Location: Assigned homes in Cuyahoga Falls & Clinton. Office is located in Uniontown.
- Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift, 40 hours, must have scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of persons served and provide effective program monitoring.
- 24/7 on-call required.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid and Delegated Med-Passing - Free training is provided.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License, personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
- Must have at least one (1) year of direct care experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
- Provide supervision of direct care staff at the homes on a day-to-day basis and works with the Scheduler to ensure that site schedules are completed, and adequate staff coverage is provided.
- Ensure that appointments are scheduled and proper follow up occurs for the persons served. Ensure that the documentation and communication of the outcome and recommendations of all appointments per Hattie Larlham processes and procedure.
- Provide training and development of the direct care staff (new and veteran) in order to ensure the highest quality of care for the persons served.
- Complete forms, reports, documentation and other paperwork and submit my assigned due dates. Oversee and monitor the completion of forms, reports, documentation and other paperwork by direct care staff.
- Maintain all petty cash and persons served cash on hand following all Hattie Larlham procedures. Ensure that the proper food supplies are in the homes. Will perform all shopping for food and supplies (laundry, personal care etc.) Will meet all repair people at the home when needed.
- Responsible for communication with the interdisciplinary team, guardian and involved family members in conjunction with the Program Coordinator.
- Will be required to transport persons served and must have an operational vehicle.
- May work with people with severe behavioral and/or medical disorders.
