The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure the consistent output of high-quality medical device components.
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday Thursday 5am-3: 30pm (4-day workweek)
Contract to hire plus benefitsKey Responsibilities:
Follow written procedures, manuals, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Load materials into machines and perform machine setup
Conduct in-process and dimensional inspections using gauges, micrometers, and inspection systems
Operate various automated and manual production equipment
Perform tasks such as assembling, labeling, packing, and inspecting products
Clean work areas including sterilized zones
Troubleshoot and identify basic machine or quality issues
Assist with root cause analysis for process or product issues
Accurately document production, maintenance, and quality records
Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Able to work independently and follow established procedures
Detail-oriented and dependable with strong attendance
Able to recognize deviations in routine work
Proficient in English (reading, writing, basic math, following diagrams)
Basic computer skills in a Windows environmentPhysical Demands & Work Environment:
Work performed in a cleanroom with required gowning and PPE
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive hand motions
Close visual attention required to inspect parts
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
