- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of students'speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on student needs, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, services, progress notes, and other required records.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.
- Provide professional recommendations for speech and language support services.
- Stay informed about best practices and current research in speech-language pathology and educational service delivery.
- Comply with district policies, state laws, and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) requirements
Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School optionsSuccessful Candidates Possess
- Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD)
- An active or pending State Licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
- ASHA CCC (preferred)
- A Department of Education Licensure, if applicable
- Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
- The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor
