- Supports completion of projects for actuarial functions including:
- Building new or modifying existing asset and liability valuation models in C# or Macro-enabled Excel spreadsheets
- Business and related forecasts
- Valuation, financial reporting, and analyses
- Support investment management functions, including:
- Understanding and analysis of hedge efficiency
- Building or modifying C# derivatives valuation models
- Liquidity assessment and management
- Financial risk reporting
- Assist in preparation of financial reports, memorandums, and other required actuarial supporting analyses including:
- Requests from external auditors, state regulators, and rating agencies
- Communicates actuarial results to cross-functional areas including:
- Business unit and other Support unit personnel
- Other actuaries
- Assist, performs, or reviews actuarial research
- Assist with training and direction of other entry-level actuaries
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g., generative AI).
- 2-3 years’ of Actuarial experience required
- Four-year degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related field required
- Completion of a minimum of 3-4 SOA Exams
- Advanced experience with Excel, SQL, and object-oriented programming (C#)
