Job Title: Software Engineer IILocation: 50 West San Fernando St., Suite 1800, San Jose, CA 95113*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in San Jose, CA.Job Duties: Fix bugs in the TTD platform, analyze performance and improve performance of software components in the TTD Platform. Participate in costing, designing, and specifying requirements of features and new functionalities requested by TTD clients. Participate in discussions with engineers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to design systems and analyze project requirements and limitations. Collect, store, change, and analyze data to make data driven decisions based on build requirements. Design, develop, and modify software systems, building and using models used in predicting or measuring outcome of designs. Participate in designing and build testing and validation tools for build components. Participate in defining and measuring system KPIs. Participate in deploying software components and participate in building and/or using monitoring systems for running software components. Participate in discussions with internal customers on software system requirements, design, and maintenance. Independently plan and execute projects and tasks, within the scope of 1-6 months, with a clear understanding of priorities and ROI. Apply modern software engineering techniques and best practices without guidance.Salary: $151,400 - $227,000 / yearJob Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have two (2) years of experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software systems. Must have experience with: JavaScript and TypeScript; React and Redux; and languages/ technology on the server-side, including C#, Java, NodeJS, and SQL.
