  • 4 years of experience working in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing and composite materials.
  • Experience with mechanical systems.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in optomechanics and electromechanical packaging.
  • Experience with environmental testing and industrial design.
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics.

As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Provide critical contributions in the entire life cycle of complex opto-mechanical multi-sensor capture systems.
  • Leverage expertise in manufacturing techniques, materials, and simulation to develop the best solution to a complex set of requirements that you’ll be instrumental in shaping.
  • Lead complex systems, junior engineers, and leverage relationships with internal and external collaborators.
  • Lead efforts for the documentation of the hardware design, its implementation, or test/validation results throughout the product life cycle.
  • Perform failure analysis, design and direct validation tests, and direct strategic investments in tooling and technology to solve future problems.
