Day.Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR to join our EMERGENCY team!The Health Unit Coordinator provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.HOURS: Full-time or .9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period. NIGHT ONLY, 5pm-5amExperience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.
Two years’ experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
