ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met
  • Participate in creating the Building Method description and the Production schedules and man hour/cost targets as the workshop specialist
  • Create the Work packages (contents, timing, and man-hour targets) in SAP for the assigned teams according to the Production schedules
  • To make the material pick requests related to the work packages to check/secure material availability to the teams
  • Main contact person from the assigned teams to Design and planning group.
  • Resource loading and detail scheduling for the teams, especially of the bottlenecks, in accordance with the Production Plan
  • To take care of change order DCN routines (estimations, SAP, follow up)
  • Gather follow up information from the workshop teams and make reports for the production departments and the shipyard management
  • Collect the production man-hour statistics and productivity information of the assigned area of responsibility
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTYThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BS Engineering preferred
  • Experience in Shipbuilding or other fabrication industries preferred
  • Planning experience in manufacturing industries preferred
  • Knowledge/Experience of Project Based Engineering and manufacturing process
  • Knowledge/Experience of productive work methods, capability to make productivity/efficiency comparisons
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Software skills - MS Office, MS Project, Primavera P6, exposure to modern ERP tools (SAP preferred), AutoCAD preferred
