
Mechanical Field Engineer - OSBL

- Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
- Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.
- Initiates requisitions for field purchases
- Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
- Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
- Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
- Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
- Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.
- Reviews and approves inspection test plans,
- Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals,
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in overseeing the installation and inspection of rotating and static equipment.
- Experience in commissioning of rotating and/or static equipment is preferred.
- Experience in LNG process systems is preferred.
- Experience with BookBuilder and UPV is preferred.
- Experience in managing TEAMWorks data and reporting quantities in TEAMWorks is preferred.
- Familiarity with ASME and API standards.
