- Architect and Lead Cloud Solutions: Design and oversee the deployment of complex, modular cloud architectures tailored to business needs.
- Optimize and Maintain Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of cloud environments through proactive monitoring and automation.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Lead root cause analysis and resolution of infrastructure and deployment challenges, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering, development, and security teams to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
- Mentorship and Training: Guide junior engineers and stakeholders on cloud best practices, emerging technologies, and implementation strategies.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in cloud engineering, with proven experience leading cloud initiatives and mentoring teams.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation), and automation tools.
- Certifications: Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with enterprise-scale DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and zero-trust architecture.
- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and cloud financial management.
