You will lead group activities, facilitate hands-on learning experiences, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.Key Responsibilities:🔹 Classroom & Activity ManagementLead small group activities in art, science, and cooking.Provide homework assistance, enrichment activities, and supervised free play.Maintain an organized, positive, and engaging classroom environment.🔹 Student Safety & SupervisionMonitor students during playground time, transitions, and dismissal.Ensure the safety and security of all children at all times.Address any behavioral concerns in collaboration with the Director.🔹 Program SupportAssist in implementing the daily program structure, including attendance, snack time, and physical activities.Complete required daily or weekly paperwork, such as attendance logs and reports.🔹 Other Duties as AssignedContribute to a fun and dynamic after-school experience, supporting the mission of The Art Farm NYC.What You Need to Succeed:✔ Key Competencies:Energetic, organized, and nurturing with a team-oriented mindset.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Flexibility and positivity in a dynamic environment.Passion for teaching and learning through hands-on experiences, especially in nature and animal science.✔ Qualifications:Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for Lead Teacher roles.Experience with Pre-K/Kindergarten or Grades 1–5 students.Background in leading group activities, including art, science, or cooking.Important Information:🚨 The Art Farm NYC participates in E-Verify to confirm employment authorization.
