Overview:
We’re seeking a results-driven MES Engineer to support the design, implementation, and integration of Siemens OpsCenter/Camstar solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on delivering robust and scalable MES platforms that bridge shop floor operations with enterprise systems, supporting traceability, quality control, and production optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • System Implementation & Configuration
Lead configuration, customization, and deployment of OpsCenter/Camstar MES modules in line with manufacturing process requirements. * Integration & Data FlowIntegrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and other IT/OT systems to ensure seamless data flow, traceability, and real-time visibility. * Technical Support & TroubleshootingServe as the technical lead for MES-related issues; support system performance, upgrades, and patching activities. * Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to define requirements and translate them into functional MES solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation. * System Optimization & Analytics EnablementSupport continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing MES workflows, enhancing user interfaces, and enabling data analytics and reporting features.Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting MES platforms (preferably Siemens OpsCenter/Camstar)
  • Hands-on experience integrating MES with ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation systems (SCADA, PLCs)
  • Proficient in MES configuration, scripting, and database management (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, electronic batch records (EBR), and product genealogy
  • Experience working in GMP or ISO-compliant environments is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing setting and drive technology adoption
