- Multidisciplinary care team including Radiologic Technologists, Medical Imaging Assistants, RNs, and Radiologists

- Perform quality Diagnostic Imaging procedures with accuracy and competency and Standard of Patient Care
- Operates equipment using proper technical factors while providing radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Assists Radiologist in performance of Diagnostic Imaging procedures. Works effectively with Radiologist and other providers.
- Assures care for the physical and psychological needs of the patient while maintaining proper positioning and transferring techniques.
- Ensures the procedure is explained to the patient prior to the exam. Prepares the patient for exam.
- Ensures double ID is performed and follows safety compliance and regulations.
- Responsible for accurately completing examination information and history in the electronic medical record and PACs systems. Provides the Radiologist with the necessary documentation and information needed for an accurate diagnosis for all procedures.
- Ensure consent forms and procedural verification forms are completed accurately and completely.
- Wears and stores radiation badge appropriately, as well as timely return of badge for measurement submission.
- Able to work effectively both independently and with team members.
- Maintains departmental efficiency
- Ensures imaging equipment and rooms are cleaned on a routine basis.
- Assembles and organizes each room prior to and following procedures. Assigned areas are cleaned in a timely manner.
- Designated duties are performed on time.
- Assumes responsibility for informing leadership about inventory needs.
- Provides solutions to issues and problems in imaging. Actively engages and collaborates with team members and leadership in solutions.
- Must be currently registered with the ARRT
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
- ARRT (CT) preferred
- One-year experience as a registered CT Technologist
