Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Polygraph. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Are you up to the challenge?We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.As the Advanced IT Security Specialist working as part of the Cyber Team as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), we’ll rely on you to apply defensive functions (e.g., encryption, access control, identity management) to reduce exploitation opportunities of vulnerabilities, as well as conduct import/export reviews for acquiring cryptographic systems. You’ll also apply current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security. - Overseeing the Cyber lifecycle, including risk management, vulnerability analysis, and continuous monitoring.
- Ensuring compliance with government security requirements and DoD policies.
- Utilizing tools like Splunk, Nessus, and VMware for security monitoring and analysis.
- Conducting hands-on reviews and maintaining security configurations.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and vulnerability analyses.
- Familiarity with IT government security standards like ICD 503, NISPOM, NIST, and DIACAP.
- Ability to provide RMF support and conduct security certification tasks.
- Experience with Incident Response procedures and reports.
- Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting Cybersecurity documentation for classified programs.
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Windows commands and utilities.
- Expertise in security tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker, ACAS Scans, and SPLUNK.
- In-depth understanding of government IT security policies and directives.
- Hands-on experience with security accreditation and certification processes.
- Ability to ensure all security IA service requirements are met.
- Primary interfaces are Government Program Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Operational Team Leads, internal customers, external customers, suppliers
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all team members and across all teams
