Position summary: Coordinates and is responsible for the central supply orders, pick-ups, stock, inventory control procedures and distributing supplies throughout the Uplands Village organization.Works cooperatively and respectfully with residents, coworkers, families, visitors, and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment in the home. Promotes the residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building, and works with the household team to meet other social service needs of the resident and of the household, always providing support, friendship and kindness for each of the household members. All tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, policies, guidelines and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.Essential skill and experience:
Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Two years of college or equivalent experience
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical as required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer proficiency, including word and excel
Preferred skill and experience:
Three years of central supply experience in a long-term facility preferable.
Reporting to this position: No Direct ReportsEssential duties: * Must execute central supply in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care.
Coordinates the processing and distribution of medical, office, and maintenance supplies and or equipment.
Enter requisitions and transactions in current systems platform.
Prepare bi-annual inventory records, logs and controls.
Oversees and organizes the central supply storage area.
Monitor and maintain stock levels and adjust levels as needed.
Obtain and notify all recalls.
Oversees and handles requests for supplies.
Responsible for local pick-up of supplies as needed.
Keeps the central supply room organized and clean.
Prepares and distributes department ordering requisition reports.
Assists with purchasing/GPO contracting.
Responsible for accessing any MSDS information.
Prepares and maintains a Central Supply Services Policy and Procedure Manual.
Act as relief for Office Services as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Director of Finance.

Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
