After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, the wage increases to $29.06/hr. The attendant will assist with proper storage of foods, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly maintained and arranged
Assembling the buffet before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter
Ensuring that the buffet always remains well-stocked
Receiving beverage orders and directing these to the kitchen, as needed
Providing customers with condiments upon request
Ensuring that customers vacate the restaurant by the close of meal service
Cleaning and sanitizing tables and countertops after each meal service
Previous cooking experience and formal certification preferred
Possess basic culinary knowledge and ability to perform food service functions in a health care institution
Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables
Resolving customers' queries and complaints
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping the floors after each meal service
Qualifications:
Physically fit and able to work
Strong eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and processes
Inventory management skills
Excellent at following workplace health and safety rules
