Infrastructure Engineer.Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12 Months contract w/ extensions
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid), (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements
Provide corporate security application oversight
Vulnerability remediation for both application and endpoint hardware
Maintain change management process for applications
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyse solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure successThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience in deploying and managing Hanwha and Arecont IP camera solutions, with a focus on their seamless integration with Verint surveillance systems.
Experience with video surveillance and security alarm systems
Implementation experience with IP-based networks, including VLANs, VLAN routing, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Field installation experience with IP Camera, Network Video Recorder, and Alarm Panel hardware
Evaluation and pilot testing experience with physical security surveillance and monitoring systems within large, distributed enterprise environments
Familiarity with Verint system components such as OpCenter, VidCenter, and Edge VMS
Experience with Digital Monitoring Products hardware and software, including DMP Virtual Receivers and Entry level Knowledge of Honeywell Mastermind alarm monitoring software
Comprehensive understanding of IP network implementations, including VLANs, VLAN routing, ACLs, 802.1x authentication, switch configuration, and POE power settingsQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
