- Supporting Patient Care: Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
- Maintaining a Sterile Environment: Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment to meet strict hygiene standards.
- Connecting with Patients: Building genuine relationships with patients, making them feel at ease before, during, and after their appointments.
- Tech & Imaging: Taking digital X-rays and managing our infection control processes.
- Patient Education and Guidance: Providing patients with aftercare instructions and educating them on good oral hygiene practices (brushing, flossing, etc.).
- Diagnostic Support: Taking dental impressions for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
- Office and Patient Coordination: Communicating with patients and suppliers, including scheduling appointments, answering calls, and managing supplies.
- Specialty Care Assistance: Supporting direct patient care across various dental specialties such as orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.
- Proven Experience: You’ve worked as a Dental Assistant before, have a solid understanding of your role, and are well-versed in dental hygiene procedures and best practices. Knowing tasks like coronal polishing are a plus!
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with dental instruments and sterilization methods. You're good with computers and dental practice management software.
- Safety Conscious: You understand health & safety regulations – we prioritize a safe environment for our team and patients.
- People Skills: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’re great at talking to patients, helping them feel at ease, and making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Attention to Detail: You're detail-oriented and have good dexterity. Precision matters in what we do!
- Trustworthy: You’re reliable and keep patient information confidential – we value trust above all.
- Qualified: You have a relevant certification or an associate degree in Dental Assisting/Technology.
- Flexible: You're more than happy to help in various areas of the practice as needed. We're a team, and we all pitch in!
