UPMC's Theiss Outpatient Program is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist to join the team! This is a great opportunity for anyone with experience working with patients with trauma especially with children and adolescents. This position allows for trainings in multiple different evidence-based practices such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma- Child and Adolescent versions (ITCT-C and ITCT-A) Trauma-Focused-CBT (TF-CBT), Psychological First Aid, and Child Play Therapy. This position also offers opportunities for supervision and growth!This position will work at our East Carson Office in the Southside with the potential of one additional day at a second location. This is a Monday through Friday, mostly daylight position, with the flexibility to accommodate two early evenings per week, based upon client population needs.Sign-On Bonuses up to $10,000!!Responsibilities:· Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.· Documentation: Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization.· Case Reviews: Periodically review cases and serious clinical changes with supervisors and clinical personnel.· Patient Assessment: Assess changing patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans.· New Patient Assessments: Conduct assessments of new patients under supervision, document clinical decisions, and implement treatment models.· Therapy and Education: Provide individual and group therapy, engage families in treatment, and educate patients on recovery.· Record Keeping: Document all patient-related activities according to guidelines.· Service Coordination: Discuss additional service needs with the clinical team and refer patients to appropriate care levels or community services.· Team Meetings: Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss cases, update treatment plans, and monitor progress.· Productivity Records: Maintain daily records of clinical productivity.· Treatment Planning: Create comprehensive treatment plans addressing a variety of patient needs· Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code)· One year of clinical experience preferred.· Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred.· Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED WITH YOUR APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE CONSIDERATION PROCESS.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination.
