Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily program operations and ensure compliance with DCYF regulations and RIELDS.
  • Develop and assess engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans alongside educators.
  • Coach and mentor teachers, providing feedback through classroom observations and assessments.
  • Coordinate with parents to promote open communication and a nurturing learning environment.
  • Ensure safety protocols and health regulations are consistently followed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for state compliance and internal planning.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: At least 3 years in early childhood education with 1+ year in a leadership role.
  • Licensing: Valid Rhode Island Early Childhood Education (ECE) teaching credentials and knowledge of state DLT regulations.
  • Skills & Certifications: Strong organizational and communication skills; current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Team Player: Passionate about collaboration with staff, families, and community stakeholders.
