- Arrive at work on time, rested, and ready for your shift.
- Operate snow/slope grooming equipment to maintain the appearance and quality of the resort’s ski slopes and trails to the highest level possible.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure the quality and safety of groomed areas.
- Assist groomer I and II with standard operating procedures and protocol.
- Attend/conduct daily crew briefings; paying close attention to safety concerns, details, and instructions.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of the mountain terrain and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Coordinate grooming activities on the hill with other mountain operation departments as necessary.
- Conduct and document pre and post operational inspections on grooming equipment and communicate issues with Vehicle Maintenance personnel to ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- Removal and installation of operating implements (tillers, blades) and assist with equipment repairs as needed.
- Complete required documentation such as grooming logs as needed.
- Perform advanced grooming operations around resort infrastructure including special projects, winch operations, and event preparation.
- Communicate clearly and effectively via 2-way radio.
- Identify and contain fuel and oil leaks in accordance with company policy.
- Report any property loss incidents and/or unusual operation immediately to the Assistant Mountain Terrain Manager.

- Must be minimum 18 year of age.
- Minimum 2 year of grooming experience required.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills for snow grooming machinery.
- Manual dexterity/grasp of hand to use all tools and equipment.

📌Physical demands: Ability to lift up-to 60 pounds, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time in a dynamic mountain environment
📌Work Environment: This role occasionally involves extended hours, nights, and weekends to accommodate peak business periods.
