Lifeway produces flavors and varieties that include lowfat, whole milk and organic versions, as well as ProBugs kefir for kids and Farmer Cheese.What You Will DoThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of the Niles, IL warehouse, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, supporting production goals, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a positive organizational culture at Lifeway Foods, Inc.Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and shipping to ensure smooth workflows and on-time deliveries.
Manage and maintain accurate inventory systems (Decom), including regular stock audits for availability and accuracy.
Lead and develop the warehouse team through training, performance feedback, and positive employee relations to drive safety and productivity.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and cross-functional teams to ensure proper storage, compliance, and timely material delivery.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and regulatory standards while maintaining well-functioning equipment and safe working conditions.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with a focus on the food manufacturing industry; perishable food especially.
Experience with inventory management systems such as Microsoft NAV ERP and Decom.
Experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to improve warehouse performance and cost control.
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, FDA, or other relevant certifications) and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Training Required after Hire: Train the Trainer certification Motor Vehicles (Forklift, Electrical Pallet, etc) and OSHA 10-hour
Benefits
Compensation is $90,000 - $120,000 annually
