ASR International Corporation (ASR) is looking to add a Business Development Specialist/Professional at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Analyze and assess business development opportunities and ‘open the door’ to those opportunities.
  • Help open the door to new companies offering First Article Inspection support.
  • Speak to/qualify companies to be partners.
  • Review and analyze related RFP’s and SOWs to determine feasibility.
  • Perform market research for opportunities to determine win threshold.
  • Create ‘must have’ experiences related to job specific requirements.
  • Connect/communicate with key stakeholders in oil & gas, aviation, and other industries around the country for opportunities available.
  • Serve as Point of Contact for some contracts ensuring all requirements are met to terms of the contract
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC, First Article Inspection, Supplier Quality Inspections, or willing to learn the concepts with minimal instruciton
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with service-based industries/contracts
  • Ability to learn quickly new standards and concepts
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn, and serve in multiple roles with a dedication to overall progress of the company.
