- 40% - Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, maintain financial projections
- 30% - Analysis of trends and impact on future results, further expand analysis and best practices
- 20% - Analytics and special projects
- 10% - Communication of results and projections
- The most important task is to be able to develop sound accurate financial forecasts for the company's financial results with a high degree of accuracy as well as to correctly identify business drivers and challenges so that the organization can head in the right direction.
- Manages multiple sections or disciplines through supervisors and professionals, guiding by established practices. Oversees financials, business planning, priorities, and workforce.
- Convey financial concepts and activity to non-financial personnel in an effective manner.
- Task and deadline-oriented and able to meet timelines and deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 5+ years experience in a similar role with extensive analytics/modeling experience
- 1 + years FP&A Management Experience
- Experience in a fast paced, high growth public company; ideally in the technology sector
- Advanced experience with analytics/modeling
- Familiarity with developing/maintaining operations headcount labor models
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others, including non-Finance personnel and executives
- Experience working with C-suite executives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop planning calendars and meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, especially Excel
- Inquisitive by nature and work to investigate and continuously learn about company practices and the competitive environment
- Forward looking and can quickly understand the important business drivers and information to help the Company be successful.
- Thorough; high degree of accuracy and completeness in calculations of forecasts and analysis.
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
