Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?
  • Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
  • If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.
Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam
  • Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.

Short-Term Packer Details:
  • Temporary position
  • $14.00 /hour
  • Part Time work available
  • First Shift (Friday through Monday from 06:30am to 03:00pm)
  • Package bottles and products into cartons according to quality specifications.
  • Assemble boxes and place full bottles or pucks as needed.
  • Check products for defects (labels, caps, closures) and rework if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and plant standards.
  • Assist in training if needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Short-Term Packer Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established production methods.
  • Must wear protective eyewear in production areas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
