Description:Burlington Vermont F-35 Site Manager This assignment is for a Site Manager position, to support operations at Vermont Air National Guard (ANG), Burlington VT. Must be willing to deploy, as required, for a long-term assignment, work any shift, and weekends. Some travel may be required. Candidates must be willing and able to deploy with Customer personnel to hazardous duty location. US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated vaccinations may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Selected candidates must pass an overseas physical examination. Site Manager who will be the single-point of contact to oversee all on-site F-35 contractor support operations at Vermont ANG, Burlington VT and will be the primary customer liaison to Air National Guard leadership at Vermont ANG, Burlington VT. Site Manager reports to the AFS Field Operations Director and maintains close coordination with the Global Fleet Support team in the management of Performance Based Logistics requirements. Site Manager will have overall responsibility for on-site contractor technical services, Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), training system support, and sustainment spares warehouse liaison services. Additionally, the Site Manager will work closely with the on-site Pratt & Whitney Field Service Engineers to ensure that all F135 support impacts are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. As part of these responsibilities, he/she will manage project / support resources in compliance with cost goals and operating budgets and maintain a sustained growth of technical and professional competence of the on-site support team. The Site Manager will be responsive to the operational and support concerns of Air National Guard leadership at Vermont ANG, Burlington VT and ensure responsive support is provided by contractor support activities. Management tasks include, but are not limited to, oversight of all on-site contractor activities, planning and scheduling of on-site team work assignments (including potential contractor deployment packages), enforcement of safety and physical security procedures and directives, and management of labor charges and administrative documentation. Basic Qualifications:
-Experience working and interacting with senior management within unit, operations, and maintenance communities. -Experience leading diverse teams in fighter maintenance or operations environment --Experience in communicating/coordinating with fighter aircraft maintenance and operations leadership. --Experience with fighter maintenance and operations support activities.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication to all levels of the organization including external customers and LM Executives -Prior hands-on knowledge of JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) system, including an in-depth understanding of the Architecture, Design and Deployments plans -Proficiency in all MS Office applications - Field Service experience (with Software/Hardware deployments, Information Assurance process/documentation, ALIS software products including Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS), Customer Relationship Management -AR process, Supply Chain Management (SCM) as well as JSF fighter operations/knowledge is preferred)
