- Utilize industry-leading cabinet design software to create detailed drawings and 3D renderings of custom cabinetry solutions.
- Develop innovative designs that optimize space utilization, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware to complement the overall design concept and meet client specifications.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and material lists for proposed cabinetry designs.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specifications and quality control standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cabinet design to enhance skillset and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in kitchen/cabinet design and space planning, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design styles.
- Proficiency in cabinet design software such as Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design, or similar programs.
- Excellent knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and construction techniques.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to create visually appealing and functional designs that meet client expectations.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in design documentation and specifications.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients.
- Prior experience in the building materials industry or custom woodworking is advantageous.
