Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Kitchen/Cabinet Designer to join our team. As Kitchen/Cabinet Designer, you will be responsible for creating customized cabinetry designs that meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients. Your creativity, attention to detail, and expertise in cabinet design software will be essential in delivering exceptional solutions that elevate the aesthetics and functionality of interior spaces.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand project requirements and design preferences.
  • Utilize industry-leading cabinet design software to create detailed drawings and 3D renderings of custom cabinetry solutions.
  • Develop innovative designs that optimize space utilization, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware to complement the overall design concept and meet client specifications.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and material lists for proposed cabinetry designs.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specifications and quality control standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cabinet design to enhance skillset and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in kitchen/cabinet design and space planning, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design styles.
  • Proficiency in cabinet design software such as Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design, or similar programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and construction techniques.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to create visually appealing and functional designs that meet client expectations.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in design documentation and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients.
  • Prior experience in the building materials industry or custom woodworking is advantageous.
