Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Packaging Assistant for a Temp-Hire position for our client, a local company who processes and delivers various high end protein located in Eugene, OR. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great program and further your career in this industry, located in Eugene, OR.As a Packaging Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Quality controlling, organizing, and packaging portioned cuts of beef and pork
- Running basic equipment (cryovac, needle tenderizer, roll tenderizer, dicer, dip tank, etc.)
- Air cooled environment (USDA inspected room)
- Must be able to stand 8 hours
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, twist
- Standing and lifting up to 50-60 lb
- Production and safety-minded
