- Grow the effectiveness of the store for the mission of SLUH, especially with respect to: revenue, volunteer engagement, and student connection.
- Shop Management: staffing, register/cash management, supplies
- Online Management: Merchandise & maintain site including product descriptions, collections, & banner messaging
- Volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and management
- Management and support of work grant and internship students
- Inventory receipting/ pricing/markdowns / reorders
- Month end sales reporting
- Visual Merchandising
- Online & Phone Order Fulfillment/Shipping and process oversight
- Partner with Merchant in Product Strategy & Vendor Management
- Customer service
- Volunteer recruitment and management
- Knowledge of target consumer demographics and marketplace
- Comfort with data analytics
- Proficiency in digital systems & tools
- Product and aesthetic sensibility
- Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of partners on site and across time zones
- Staffing events and engaging directly with customers at a variety of times and locations. Occasional evenings and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
- Experience with fundamental business operations
- Financial literacy
- Retail experience preferred
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 lbs
