About the Role:Join Adams, Inc. as a Residential Electrical Estimator in Elkhorn, WI, where your expertise will help shape our residential projects. This is not a full-time role; we are seeking someone with electrical estimating experience to fill in as needed for selected projects.The pay range for this role varies on recent, relevant experience; though the typical pay range will be between $40 - $50 per hour.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for residential electrical projects.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project costs.
  • Consult with clients to clarify project requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability.
  • Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documents.
  • Assist in developing project budgets and timelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and local codes to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the residential sector.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in estimation software such as Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite or able to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
