• Actively participating in scoping, leading, and delivering customer consulting engagements through the whole services lifecycle
• Develop newer Group Producers as an asset, while working with established Group Advisors
• Increase external network to contribute to the community and to capitalize on business opportunities and responsible to deliver on the up-sell strategy within assigned territory
• Insurance Consultants will focus 80% of their time on relationship management/sales generating activities, and 20% on responding to inquires
• Handle calls (inbound and outbound), to maximize sales performance and retention targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills
• Liaising with clients all year round, including but not limited to, account management, surveys & research and lead generation
• Provide the customer with relevant product information that is clear, fair, and not misleading allowing them to make an informed decision
• Assist with coordinating the workload, ensuring adequate distribution of the work among available staff

• High School Diploma, college degree highly desired
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a firm working knowledge of Life, AD&D and disability benefits with a basic understanding of risk and insurance concepts preferred
• Underwriting/pricing experience for life and disability group insurance benefits preferred
• RFP experience and thorough understanding of FMLA and ADA
• Flexible to work in the Plano office, hybrid or virtual.
• Worked in the 500+ employee size segment,
• PowerPoint proficient. EXCEL proficiency required
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize and scale in a fast-paced environment
