- Design and develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks Node, Nuxt, Pulumi, GrqphQL, Tailwind, Sequelize and Mysql with a focus on extending existing applications and services.
- Implement secure APIs and backend services with authentication and authorization layers.
- Upgrade and maintain existing frameworks and components.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Github CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments.
- Manage and automate AWS infrastructure including services like IAM, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, CloudFront, GuardDuty, Lambda and EventBridge.
- Integrate security practices such as code scanning, container scanning, and secrets management.
- Participate in incident response, post-mortem reviews, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
- Document infrastructure, processes, and system configurations as part of compliance efforts.
- Participate in daily agile standups and sprint planning for engineering initiatives.
- Strong full-stack development skills with attention to security and performance.
- Proven ability to implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation.
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation practices.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in JavaScript frameworks and backend development tools.
- Proficient in AWS services and CLI.
- Proficient in security tools such as Burp, Snyk, Nessus, or AWS Inspector.
- 2–4+ years of experience in full-stack software development with DevOps/SecOps exposure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Github).
- Familiarity with containerization (AWS ECR and Docker) and IaC tools (Pulumi).
- Experience implementing secure development practices and working within compliance frameworks.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in secure application development and infrastructure management.
- Experience in Insurance and/or Financial Products & Services a plus.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect preferred.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
