Description :SUMMARYArcticom, LLC, a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a qualified Senior, Field Service Support Engineer (FSSE) to support our United States Marine Corps customers. The FSSE will be a lead Team Arcticom representative engaging Marine Corps units to address Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS) requirements, identify user issues, serve as a collaboration element between Marines and software developers, support software functionality/capability development, new functionality implementation (function release support, training, troubleshooting, etc.), and develop effective working relationships with key Marine Corps personnel.Applicants will be contacted via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.· Provide Product Owner and team members with analysis, surveys, and data gathering.· Provide Product Owner and team members with day-to-day corporate knowledge of processes (advising) and responsibilities of Marine Corps transportation and supply ordering processes and related IT systems.· Collaborate with other FSSEs, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and system users in data gathering, business processes, and User Acceptance Testing.· Provide input to system documentation.· Provide input to software functionality test scenarios.· Responsible for attending and participating in daily team meetings, executing the assigned workload, and working within project management tools i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Project, etc.· Learn and/or continued development in Agile Scrum Methodology.QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications· 8+ years’ experience in the applicable field of Marine Corps logistics.· 5+ years’ experience using/managing STRATIS.· Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics· Positive, professional, team player attitude willing to develop sound working relationships with customers and/or other Team Arcticom members.· Experience, training and/or desire to learn and develop expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies as well as Software Develop processes.· Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.· Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing environment.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.· Ability to research and effectively prepare training materials as needed.Preferred· Knowledge of and experience with Marine Corps logistics business processes and associated IT systems, preferably Common Logistics Command and Control System (CLC2S), the Transportation Capacity Planning Tool (TCPT), and the Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS).NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEssential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS· This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES· No supervisory responsibilities.ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORSAs a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
