- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in technical infrastructure strategy, development, or operations.
- Experience working on regulatory/policy strategy in energy, infrastructure or sustainability.
- Experience working with NGOs, advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies in the energy, infrastructure or sustainability sectors.
- Experience and execution in multi-stakeholder environments and systems.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in leading public-facing initiatives/engagements on behalf of multinational organizations.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and investigative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across geographic regions with internal and external audiences.
- Lead assessment of data center regulatory environments, quantifying cost impacts and defining resolution for Google's portfolio and sustainability.
- Advocate global data center sustainability policy tracking, change management, and assurance across EU, APAC, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration regions.
- Define key metrics, develop and manage reporting strategies for internal partners and leadership.
- Define regulatory advocacy priorities with external stakeholders crucial to Google's sustainability roadmap and data center capacity.
- Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data center policy, collaborating cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Legal, and data center development teams.
