Assistant Front Office ManagerSalary: Around USD 60,000We are seeking two motivated and service-driven Assistant Front Office Managers to join our evolving Rooms Division team. This is an exciting time of growth and restructuring, offering the opportunity to help shape service standards and guest experiences in a property dedicated to achieving Forbes 4-Star recognition.Key Responsibilities1. Front Office Leadership
  • Support the Front Office Manager in leading a team of approximately 10 agents, including Night Audit, Guest Relations, and Concierge.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day front office operations, ensuring seamless guest check-in, check-out, and overall satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the team, fostering a positive and professional service culture.
2. Service Excellence & Forbes Standards
  • Actively participate in the property’s ongoing Forbes training program, part of a five-year journey toward achieving a 4-Star rating.
  • Uphold and reinforce service standards in alignment with Forbes guidelines and brand expectations.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring exceptional service recovery.
3. Team Development & Restructuring Support
  • Contribute to the restructuring and development of the Rooms Division under the leadership of a new Director of Hotel Operations and Front Office Manager.
  • Mentor team members, particularly newer staff, to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Support the transition of PBX operations to an outsourced provider.
4. Operational Administration
  • Monitor front office performance, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Mandatory: U.S. citizen.
  • Experience as a Front Office Supervisor or in a similar leadership role; open to candidates stepping into their first Assistant Manager position.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Forbes service experience is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with Preferred Hotels is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment undergoing change.
