We are looking for a Medical Billing Supervisor for our client in Middleburg Heights! The Production Supervisor oversees daily department operations, coordinates work assignments, and leads a team to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with company policies and client standards.Position Information:
  • Salary: $48,000-$55,000
  • On site for the first 6 months then the opportunity for a hybrid schedule

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily work assignments and staffing levels to ensure timely completion of tasks within required Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Monitor workloads and reassign staff as needed to maintain efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, including coordination with both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Participate in client meetings to address process updates and billing-related issues.
  • Perform monthly quality audits to ensure adherence to client SOPs and achievement of performance metrics.
  • Track and analyze individual productivity against established goals and KPIs.
  • Coach, counsel, and support staff in alignment with company policies, providing guidance on performance improvement when necessary.
  • Review and approve employee timesheets, monitoring overtime and attendance.
  • Assist in resolving complex billing issues, including direct communication with insurance companies when needed.
  • Recommend and coordinate process improvement initiatives based on data analysis and workflow evaluations.
  • Ensure staff members remain informed of policy and procedural updates, communicating SOP changes to the management team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional development of team members.
  • Represent the department in management meetings and other committees as needed.
  • Assist department managers with strategic planning, resource allocation, and achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Act as department lead in the absence of the Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a business environment.
  • Strong background in staff development, coaching, and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software tools.
  • Experience managing productivity metrics, quality assurance, and process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
