Project Management:
Lead and manage multiple aerospace projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts, escalating when necessary.
Infrastructure Upgrades:
Assess current infrastructure and identify areas for improvement and modernization.
Plan and oversee the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, including facilities, equipment, and technology systems.
Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems.
Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards during upgrade processes.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Manufacturing Optimization:
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards.
Oversee the integration of new manufacturing technologies and automation systems.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven strategies for process enhancement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training and development programs.
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical preferred)
3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
