McGee Wealth Management, a growing financial advisory firm located in Katy, TX, is seeking a Paraplanner to join our growing team. We are a financial planning firm that has client service as our #1 priority, and we are looking for someone with the same mindset to join us as a full-time Paraplanner. Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare financial plans for review by the Lead Advisors
  • Analyze client insurance policies and present analysis to clients
  • Prepare client meeting agendas, notes, and documents needed for client meetings
  • Assist in the maintenance of the firm's CRM
  • Process meeting notes, update contact management database, and assign and execute workflow tasks and enter all applicable information into the firm's CRM - AdvisorEngine
  • Handle client issues and requests related to financial planning
  • Provide support to Lead Advisors
Position Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in the financial service industry, preferably with an RIA
  • Experience with property and casualty insurance, but this is NOT a sales position
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn to navigate various web-based platforms
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Positive, energetic, friendly, and service-oriented
  • Excellent administrative writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent client service and relationship management skills
  • Experience with Emoney and Holistiplan is NOT required, but would be a plus
The ProcessQualified candidates will start the process by having a 15- to 30-minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm.
