Refresh and Grow your Career with Us!Job OverviewThe Sr. Category Leadership Manager is accountable for leadership of category, channel and geography-centric analyses designed to formulate selling stories in support of CCCI's Marketing Strategies and Commercial Plans. The Manager utilizes available tools and resources to generate insights designed to uncover current trends and identify future opportunities to grow CCCI's business.The Sr. Category Leadership Manager serves as the subject matter expert on category, channel and geography-led insights inclusive of the entire beverage landscape. The Manager works closely with key constituents across the CCCI footprint to build relationships and collaboratively identify opportunities for gap solving.Duties & ResponsibilitiesServes as primary lead for the development of industry-wide reports and scorecards of category, channel and geography-centric performance trends for key commercial and sales constituents.Collaborates across disciplines and departments (Sales Team, Category Space Team, RGM) to develop information-based presentations to assist with solving business issues to identify opportunities and provide solutions and recommendations.Assess market conditions, category conditions and shopper behavior and recommends strategies to meet and exceed company performance objectives.Collaborates with channel and customer commercialization leads to review the impact of strategies and initiatives on the overall performance at the category, channel and geographic levels.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • 3-5 Years of experience with data analytics, preferably with a CPG Company
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities with both external (customers) and internal partners
  • Proven knowledge of and experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI) and shopper card data
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four Year Degree in Marketing, Finance or General Business
Work Environment
  • 15% - 20% Travel
  • Remote based position, but will be expected to come into the Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC for meetings when needed.
