Position SummaryThe Division of Enrollment Management is dedicated to serving incoming, current, and alumni students, along with parents, through coordinated efforts between Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Records and Registration, and other support organizations.Our mission is to support students' success at every stage of their academic journey. Through exceptional customer service and seamless communication, we strive to create a welcoming and customer service friendly environment for all students and families by fostering collaboration between departments to ensure students receive the guidance and resources needed to achieve their academic goals.We are seeking an energetic and personable student to join our Contact Center Team. In this role, you will assist students, customers, and faculty by responding to inbound calls, live chat, and instant messaging. In this role you will be providing timely and accurate guidance while delivering exceptional and professional customer services.This position offers valuable insight into the critical services and operations within Higher Education that contributes to student success and retention at the University. You will receive comprehensive training on various platforms, including Banner, OnBase, Oracle RightNow (live chat), and other technologies to effectively assist students.Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be achieving Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Must be receiving Federal or State Work-Study funding for the 2025-26 aid year.
Work Schedule:
Mon - Friday between 8-5pm. Able to work 12-20 hours per week, fall, spring & summer terms.
Availability to work extra over the summer and winter breaks.Minimum Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience - The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service roles and demonstrate a proven track record of success. They will bring a positive and professional attitude, adding value to both customer interactions and team collaboration. Possess a strong commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and enhancing the overall student and customer experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills & Communication Skills - Posses strong active listening skills, clear verbal and written skills, empathy, adaptability, abilities with conflict resolution, think quickly to provide effective real time recommendations and solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Willingness to Learn - Candidates should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and embrace new skills and best practices with a commitment to towards continuous growth are highly valued.
  • Effective Time Management - Candidates must have strong time management skills, be dependable, effective to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and dedicated to self-improvement.
  • Technical Proficiency - Candidates will be challenged learning and interfacing with large amounts of information using various resource materials and websites. Candidates will be using various software programs.
