Elevate the Prestige: Position The Plaza as the premier luxury hotel in El Paso, building on its reputation as the only Michelin Key property in the region.
Market Expansion: Focus on key feeder markets to attract discerning leisure, corporate, and entertainment clients who view El Paso as an emerging destination.
Guest Engagement: Foster authentic, personal connections with clients and guests, strengthening loyalty through individualized attention and bespoke service.
Segment Growth: Drive business across group, transient, corporate, and entertainment sectors, crafting offers and account strategies that increase revenue share.
Local Partnerships: Cultivate long-term relationships with local and regional companies that create a sense of belonging and sustainable revenue.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a strong sales and marketing team ensuring growth through collaboration, accountability, and coaching.
Collaboration: Work in partnership with Revenue Management to shape the mix of business, pricing, and channel strategies in support of overall hotel goals.
Digital & E-Commerce: Maintain a strong online presence by managing internet marketing, e-commerce channels, and social media opportunities to expand reach and strengthen brand identity.
Strategic Oversight: Prepare and maintain a current annual marketing plan with measurable initiatives that reflect The Plaza’s luxury positioning and ambitious growth trajectory.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the hotel at key community and industry events, embodying prestige, excellence, and the cultural vitality of El Paso.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Your Background and Skills
Four-year college degree required; additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing and communications a plus.
Previous sales experience in a comparable hotel size and scope required with operations experience preferred.
Public relations and community marketing experience required.
Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Delphi and access database tools.
