Be reliable and friendlyExcellent communication skills.NYS Certification or study plan preferredJob Responsibilities:Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum. (Identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.Track children’s progress.Communicate with parents regularly.Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.If you are passionate about working with children and providing a nurturing environment for their growth and development, we would love to hear from you. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and five years' experience in a licensed early childhood center
Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Ability to lift objects of up to 30 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell
