Job Title: Design EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming AutoCAD drawings into fully assembled 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, creating and developing parts from drafts to production-ready designs, and ensuring the accuracy and manufacturability of these designs through collaboration with engineering teams.Responsibilities
Utilize Autodesk Inventor to convert AutoCAD drawings into fully assembled 3D models (solid modeling).
Create and develop parts from drafts to production-ready designs.
Apply proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks for mechanical design tasks.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability of designs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks for mechanical design.
Experience with sheet metal design.
Ability to convert AutoCAD drawings into fully assembled 3D models.
Strong experience in mechanical design and engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
iLogic scripting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Autodesk AutoCAD is a strong advantage.
Experience in new product development.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is collaborative, requiring close interaction with engineering teams. The position involves using advanced design software such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks, with a focus on creating accurate and manufacturable designs.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
