Business DivisionsInvestment BankYour roleWe're looking for an Associate Director, EM STIR Trader to:
  • Manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. Trade and order on behalf of the firm on a principal or agency basis, to generate revenue and support the needs of clients.
  • Generate revenue through the timely and accurate execution and booking of trades/orders on a principal basis (generating P&L) or agency ("as agent") basis (generating commissions or sales credits).
  • Proactively keep abreast of market developments and trading opportunities. Facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity via proprietary inventory (utilizing the firm's capital) or accessing third party external offerings.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations and internal policies including but not limited to quality of execution trading activities, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies. Adhere to and promote the UBS principles and behaviors acting with integrity, due skill, care, and diligence always.
  • Ensure escalation and disclosure of any information of which applicable regulators would reasonably expect notice. Observe proper standards of market conduct while paying due regard to interests of customers and treating them fairly.
Salary Range & Work Schedule: $225,000 to $ 275,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification.   • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering (any), or a related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as a Fixed Income Trader, Money Market Trader, Asset and Liability Management Analyst, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
  • financial markets, financial instruments, and financial strategies; Volcker; trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk and conduct risk; trading P&L, commissions, sales credits; managing liquidity, interest rates and FX spot risk; TIIE swaps; P&L attribution; machine learning; Bloomberg; Excel VBA; Programming in Python.
