Plant Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 150k/year - Conway, SC
Our client is a plastics manufacturer specializing in profile extrusion utilizing recycled materials and fibers.
The team is seeking a Plant Manager who will have complete oversight of facility operations including: production, logistics, safety, quality, material planning, team development, and shipping.
Responsibilities:
Drive operation excellence while supporting the team with new growth initiatives
Assist with bridging the gap between R&D and manufacturing for new product lines
Production planning and scheduling
Inventory management
Develop and maintain quality control system
Participate in new product development and new product lines to launch into market
Establish company metrics and production goals
Maintain OSHA and other regulatory guidelines
Assist with growth of team - hiring, training, continuous development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5+ years' experience in Sr level Management within plastics profile extrusion manufacturing setting
Robust background in plastics extrusion is required
Complete understanding of running a manufacturing plant: production planning/scheduling, material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping, etc
Familiarity with six sigma principles
Proven leadership abilities to strengthen and grow teams
Compensation:
Our client is offering a base salary up to 150k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package. The team will also assist with relocation assistance to get to the greater Conway, SC area.
