Duration of Assignment: 6 Months with high possibility of extension
Job Description:
Must Have:
Looking for an Engineer who can understand Routing and Switching with good Project Management experience in tracking commercial projects that the team is deploying.
Experience with some technical engineering work with some modification
Skills Required:
Go getter
Being able to develop some reports to VPs
Able to talk the technical talk with the engineers
Maintain list and procedures for 3rd party data centers, maintain list and procedures for leased circuits, work with engineering team to support existing projects for routing, switching, and transport. Assist with completing port requests.
Responsibility:
-Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment
-Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services.
-Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues.
-Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards.
Skills:
-Specific knowledge and 0 to 3 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers
-Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing
-Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
-Experience with protocols
-Firewall experience such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.)
-Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers
