Job DescriptionBerman STAR Nissan is GROWING and we are looking for Sales/Product Specialists to add to our team! Fluent in Spanish? That's a PLUS!Position: Automotive Sales/Product Specialist
Location: Berman STAR Nissan (Niles, IL)
Pay: $41,600-$100,000+ (Includes a Base Salary!)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Saturday (Sundays and one weekday off)What your work week would look like:
  • 1 Day: 9AM - 3PM
  • 2 Days: 9AM - 8PM
  • 1 Day: 12PM - 8PM
  • Saturdays: 8:45AM - 6PM

Our Sales/Product Specialists assist our customers in their car buying journey. From the initial point of contact, to the time they drive off the lot with their new vehicle - our goal is to ensure the customer has the information they need to have an enjoyable and easy car buying experience!What does a typical day look like?
  • Engaging with the customers via phone, email, text or in-person to determine where the customers are in their buying journey and any additional information they need to complete the purchase
  • Completing product demonstrations
  • Working with inventory and the acquisition team to uncover the market value of the customer's trade appraisal
  • Determining and explaining purchase terms to customers- price of vehicle, payments, length of loan
  • Staying in contact with customers you've met to ensure their questions are answered and they had a great experience
Qualifications
  • You have experience in retail sales, hospitality, restaurant, or any customer facing role
  • You are bilingual in English & Spanish
  • You have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (3 year min)
  • You like interacting with people and enjoy explaining details in a non-threatening way
  • You enjoy problem solving under pressure and have shown an ability to remain calm, courteous and professional during times of high stress
  • You value being in a sales role with a strong emphasis on the customer experience
