Closing Date: September 18th, 2025, or upon receipt of the first 50 applicant submissionsCommunity Program SupervisorAging and Disability Resources Center (ADRC)Hourly Range: $39.10 - $46.59Job Summary: The Community Program Supervisor directs and oversees the community outreach and communication strategies, expanding the impact of ADRC services including, large and small public events, printed materials, ADRC website, social media, and other channels. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with businesses and community partners to expand the impact of the ADRC’s goals and objectives to serve adults with disabilities and older adults. This position is responsible of supervising seven direct reports.Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee outreach strategies by planning, preparing, and coordinating special projects, presentations, trainings, attending community events, and exhibit tables/booths to create public awareness of the services and resources available to adults with disabilities and older adults, and support the objectives of the governing board as well as leadership. Supervise the ADRC outreach team.
  • Manage the Dementia Care Specialists (DCS) team. Enhance dementia education and care within the community. Ensure that the DCS State Work Plan objectives are met, meeting county and state reporting requirements for dementia programming.
  • Manage the ADRC’s external communications, include ADRC website, social media as well as digital and print materials. Train and oversee staff on the development and maintenance of these communication channels to optimize their performance and achieve communication objectives and ADRC strategy goals.
  • Develop new partnerships and build on existing collaborations that expand the scope and impact of the outreach team, and its services. This includes partnerships with community service providers, public health departments, senior centers, health care providers, independent living and disabilities services providers, and community-based organizations.
  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate special projects and events to increase public knowledge of ADRC services to support objectives of the ADRC Governing Board, leadership, and reach target audiences.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, develop, monitor performance objectives, and coordinate training activities. Direct and oversee all other staff activities.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current resident of the state of Wisconsin at the time of application.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or in a closely related field.
  • At least one (1) year of work experience in Community Outreach and/or project management in a Human Services field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) year of experience with budget management.
  • Basic knowledge of Titan and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Aging and Disabilities Resource Center department policies and procedures; very strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills and decision making skills; ability to work effectively and harmoniously with staff, customers, families, and partner agencies; ability to work with people of all social, economic and educational levels; very strong computer database skills and knowledge of social media platforms; ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs as needed.NOTE: This ORIGINAL APPLICATION is open to qualified residents of the State of Wisconsin at the time of application.
